My experience at Blue Hill College was a great one. The campus is a small campus, and the classes are small, which gave me more one on one time with the professors there. The professors definitely knew what they were talking about and were helpful when I did not understand something. I took Spanish I, Sociology, Macroeconomics, and Statistics I at Blue Hill. The teachers all spoke fluent English and so did the students there even though Spanish was their native language. Since the students spoke both English and Spanish, they were able to help me adjust to the country and show me around without problems. They helped me make friends with more of the locals and taught me more Spanish by speaking to me in Spanish and translating again in English if I didn't understand. Blue Hill made a big difference in my study abroad here in Ecuador and it helped me to get my credits for college back in Kansas, and it also helped me make friends with many Ecuadorians..

I had the pleasure of being in your classes a few years ago when Blue Hill was located in the Balandra facilities. I wanted to say hi, let you know a little bit about my accomplishments so far and also about my future goals. I’ve been in the States for a little over 3 years now. I recently earned my M.B.A. from Strayer University in Philadelphia, PA. And I’m working on campus as the Dean’s assistant. After earning the Masters I’ve realized I want to keep going and enroll in a doctoral program. I’ve gotten to love the college environment and hope to become an educator in the near future. There’s a very interesting and challenging program (a D.B.A.) at Wilmington University which I hope to be accepted for the Fall semester. Here’s the catch: I would like to ask you if you could please write a letter of recommendation on my behalf. I know that by having a letter from you will truly make an impact on the admissions committee. I attended an information session last week and my fellow classmates will be successful top level executives from very prestigious companies so I need to prove to them that I’m just as capable and likely to succeed as anybody else.
